Fiji Islands Beach Pictures Gallery
With so many beautiful beaches in Fiji, it is easy to find one to suit. Some of the most spectacular beaches are found in the Yasawa Islands, a chain of rugged islands offshore from Nadi, the craggy island peaks majestically harbouring sheltered coves and crescent-shaped beaches. The beaches are typically white coral sand beaches, lapped by turquoise lagoons.
The panoramic photo above, captures a deserted western-facing beach at Yaqeta Island in July 2005. Yaqeta Island (pronounced yahng-getta) is north of the large island of Naviti.
Why not explore the Fiji Islands and find your own perfect white sand beach ! There are many Fiji backpacker accommodation resorts in the Yasawa Islands and the closest to this beach is Sanawai Backpackers. You may need to ask the local villagers if they can take you to see the beaches that face the west. The Yasawas may be accessed by regular daily catamaran ferries such as Awesome Adventures Fiji. |
