Fiji Islands Photo and Panoramic Image Gallery
The blissfully fragrant Frangipani flower must surely be the epitome of love, romance and the exotic tropical islands of the South Pacific. This exotic white flower, tinged with the purest lemon yellow at its centre, is soft and velvety to touch and flowers most abundantly during the hotter and more humid 'summer' months in Fiji, being November to April.
It is frequently used to make Fijian neck wreaths called ' salusalu ', or bridal bouquets and floral wedding arches for those couples who come to Fiji for their marriages in paradise.
This image was taken at Malolo Island Resort in the Mamanuca Islands of Fiji. The resort is popular not only with honeymooners and wedding couples, but also for small groups and corporate get-togethers, as well as families. Visit the Mamanucas Fiji for your tropical holiday ! Enjoy the scent of frangipani blossoms as well as their beautiful appearance, and feel their soft velvety touch against your skin. |
