Floating Restaurant in Suva
Tiko's Floating Restaurant is a landmark feature along the promenade in central Suva. Having served its time as a charter vessel with Blue Lagoon Cruises, it was put out to pasture and converted into a charming restaurant and bar. The restaurant is on the upper deck affording the diner views over Suva Harbour. Great on a clear evening with the sun setting over the harbour. The lively bar, with live jazz music is on the lower deck.
Noted for its attentive staff, good wine list, and live music while you eat, Tiko's is a popular spot for dining in Fiji's capital city of Suva. The menus includes seafood dishes such as pakapaka (snapper) and walu (Spanish Mackerel) using freshly caught fish. You'll probably need to book ahead.
Tiko's Floating Restaurant may be found moored on the waterfront on Stinson's Parade near Sukuna Park in Suva. Internationally recognisable MacDonalds Hamburger restaurant is on the other side of Sukuna Park ( on Victoria Parade ) so that helps identify the location if you are not familiar with the layout of Suva city. |
